Pairs well with shellfish such as fresh oysters on the half shell or steamed and lightly herbed clams. Also try with brined, slow-roasted, on the bone pork shanks served with roasted vegetables, rice pilaf, or asparagus spears.

Jonathan's Pick: Sauvignon Blanc....................... $6
 Guenoc Sauvignon Blanc, California
This California Sauvignon Blanc is cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain its fruity flavors and aromas. The aromas are unique with scents of sweet jalapeno and citrus peel. On the palate, a touch of sweetness is perfectly balanced with lively acidity that enhances juicy flavors of grapefruit, quince and citrus. Pair with light food and good friends, enjoy.

Lucky's Pick: Pinot Noir .................................... $7
Belle Ambiance Pinot Noir
Here's an incredible find. A California Pinot Noir that has character and style for an unbelievable price. Belle Ambiance is named for a beautiful spot in the Delicato Family vineyard that's inviting and tranquil. The wine is produced in a style that echos the mood of this relaxing glade. The Delicato family vineyard is an amazing source for superb Pinot Noir. Grapes were picked in the early morning to capture and retain the fresh character and the wine was fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak. It shows cherry, strawberry, vanilla, toast, plums, and hints of spice. A Wine Enthusiast Magazine Best Buy! They said "A well-built red, this features a tasty core of plum and raspberry flavors surrounded by appealing, slightly sweet oak accents that come out as vanilla and cinnamon. Perhaps it’s not tight or tannic enough for everyone, but it should be a crowd pleaser."

Lucky's Pick: Merlot ........................................... $7
J. Lohr Merlot, Paso Robles '10
Black Cherry and pomegranate aromas with the signature of chocolate and coconut of the barrel.

Lucky's Pick: Cabernet Sauvignon ................ $6
La Terre Cabernet Sauvignon, CA '12
This bold, full-bodied Cabernet wraps classic Napa structure--rich blackberry fruit, chunky tannins and sweet tobacco smoke--into a juicy, sophisticated package of wonderful depth. Smoke and yet more mocha flavors round out this complete, balanced wine.

Lucky's Pick: Zinfandel ..................................... $7
Ravenswood Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel
Deep ruby color. Jammy raspberry fruit with notes of fresh rose and baking spices adding complexity. Dark berry flavors give rich depth but are also enlivened by juicy acidity. Impressively fresh, focused Zinfandel with excellent finishing lift and thrust, leaving behind smoky minerals.

Lucky's Pick: Malbec .......................................... $7
Stark Raving Malbec, Argentina '10
Medium-bodied with a touch of spice • Dark cherries + smoky bacon = winning combination • Fun fact: malbec is one of the six varieties allowed in a Bordeaux blend
